On Thursday, August 25 TNT held the Humorous Speech contest. The speakers were great and the audience loved them. New Toastmaster Ronnie Hooper entertained us with his Triathlon gone wrong. Dwight Owsen taught us about fictional maladies including the never to be forgetten “Stick in Rice Ball” syndrome. However, it was Jenni Stone and Mary Mukhtarian who took the top two prizes. Jenni was our runner up telling us stories of her toddler and his high energy, high volume chants. While, Mary took the first prize certificate with her always entertaining speech.
